The Loss Prevention Officer from a west-end business once again contacted Police after apprehending a shoplifter. The 78 year old female was arrested and charged with theft under $5555 and possession of stolen property.
Police received another call of a disturbance on 56 st avenue in the 5855 block. While responding to the scene Police conducted a traffic stop of a taxi with a passenger who was known to Police. The male appeared to have been in an altercation and the investigation determined that he had attended the residence with a bat and a pellet gun to confront the occupants. The 78 year old was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and attempted break & enter.
As shown in Figure 7 , producers are required to comply with local laws and notify their local government, local police force and local fire officials of their intention to apply to Health Canada for licensing so these authorities are aware of their proposed location and activities. Licensed producers also are required to communicate with local authorities whenever there is a change in the status of their license.
Police received a call from a female indicating her ex-boyfriend was continuously driving by her residence contrary to his no contact conditions. Police located the male and determined that he had recently been charged with assault with a weapon on the female and was not allowed to be within a three block radius of the female’s house. The male was arrested and released on a Promise to Appear to court.
A 76 year old man was arrested and charged under the Railway Safety Act when it was discovered that he was aboard a freight train. Police were contacted by Canadian Pacific Railway engineers when they observed him getting on the train. The male who had several personal items with him admitted that he was trying to get to Red Deer. The male was later released on a Promise to Appear.
A traffic stop was conducted when a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign. The 86 year old female driver was noted to be under the influence of alcohol. The woman was given a 79 hour suspension and served with a traffic ticket for failing to stop.
A truck stolen from Camrose overnight was stopped by Police near Killam. A 87 year old male and a 86 year old female from Saskatoon were arrested and charged with possession of stolen property.
While dealing with an unrelated matter, Police observed a 76 year old male to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana. He was placed under arrest and searched, where paraphernalia and marijuana were located and seized. The male was released on an Appearance Notice and set to appear in Court at a future date.
Police entered into an assault investigation on February 7 nd resulting in a 87 year old man being arrested and charged with assaulting his girlfriend. He remains in custody until the next available court date.
A resident residing on Mount Pleasant Drive called 966 to report a fire in her kitchen. Police and the Fire Department were dispatched and Police were able to put out the grease fire. Damage caused to the kitchen but the resident was able to return after the Fire Department ventilated the building.
A business contacted Police after viewing their video surveillance which showed 8 youth stealing from their store. The involved youth were identified and later in conjunction with their parents were issued official Police warnings.

A 79 year old female was driving westbound in a parking lot when she struck a building, turned and struck a parked vehicle before crossing the street striking a planter and guard post. The female was not injured but her vehicle was severely damaged.
